MAIN PURPOSE

As an e-Commerce Specialist, you will create and implement strategies to increase online sales. This role involves a wide range of responsibilities related to the company's website presence. Play a critical role in ensuring the success of an online retail business. You will organize, develop, and execute website marketing plans. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all online activity about traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, testing and reporting.
  • Develop and implement an e-commerce strategy to improve website performance.
  • Work with the marketing team or agency to improve quality and traffic acquisition.
  • Research the market to discover new trends and technologies to improve website performance.
  • Analyse various data to deliver data-driven strategies to deliver top performance and achieve KPIs.
  • Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media.
  • Develop a content calendar and oversee website uploads and landing page development.
  • Excellent understanding of UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis. 
  • Confidence in traffic analysis, reporting tools and optimization.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities in the Indian eCommerce landscape.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven eCommerce strategies tailored to the Indian market.
  • Campaigns and Content Creation: Implement effective SEO strategies in India to enhance product discoverability.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Monitor and enhance the customer journey, ensuring a seamless and culturally appropriate experience from browsing to purchase and post-sales support.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Gather and analyze customer feedback to implement improvements.
  • Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with local eCommerce partners, influencers, and affiliates to expand brand visibility and reach.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on India eCommerce regulations, consumer protection laws, and industry best practices to ensure full compliance.

 

  Qualifications :


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience (2+ years) in eCommerce operations, preferably within the Indian market.

• Proficiency in the English language (both written and spoken) is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of Indian eCommerce platforms (Tata Cliq, Ajio, company website, etc.).

• Familiarity with SEO, digital marketing, and eCommerce analytics tools.

• Exceptional attention to detail and project management skills.

• Cultural sensitivity and a deep understanding of Indian consumer behavior.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
