Manager-Partnership & Alliances- Samsung Wallet Purpose of the Position The candidate would be responsible for driving Growth initiatives and New Partnerships for Samsung Wallet within the Payments business steam. Samsung Wallet is unique feature and user loyalty driver on Samsung mobile devices. It is a comprehensive platform that includes Contactless Payments, UPI Payments, Digital IDs, Boarding passes, Travel tickets with a host of upcoming features planned. Job Responsibility · As a key member of Samsung’s Payments business team, drive partnerships with Card Networks, Banks/ Card Issuers, Payment processors and aggregators · Also lead strategic partnerships with other Payment players and Fintechs to drive new features and use cases within Samsung Wallet to deliver both user engagement and monetization revenue · Drive thought leadership and assess commercial viability of new business ideas or concepts, and then drive end to end execution & commercialization of the shortlisted new business streams · Support the Wallet team on growth initiatives such as Consumer Campaigns or Referral initiatives · Own the KPIs and success metrics of the new features/partnerships launched by them such as MAUs, DAUs, Engagement rates, Retention rates, etc. · Work closely with Samsung’s R&D and technology teams on new feature development and product roadmap, UX, UI, etc. · Work closely with key internal business support functions within Samsung as Legal, Finance and Commercial teams on contracts, negotiations, deal closures, etc. Key Result Areas · Forging Strategic tie ups with fintech companies to amplify wallet proposition · Work with R&D and HQ teams and manage a tight project plan on development/Go-live Competencies Impact on Organization Leads partnerships and growth initiatives for Samsung Wallet. Owns the key metrics for Service driving user retention. Communication Acts as representative for the department/business, both internally and externally Persuasiveness Initiates, develops and implements policy and procedure changes and has an ability to influence sales and other cross-functional teams to imbibe changes Knowledge Possesses good knowledge of sales and is adept at operations while having a strategic view Scope and Complexity Operationalize strategies, goals and plans to execution Knowledge and Experience · Experience and Knowledge of UPI Payments, Card Payments, Tokenization would be a plus · Should have driven Business Development and New partnerships with the aim to launch new high growth features and use cases · Strong Project management skills to ensure that business goals dependent on tech deliverables are met in a timely manner · Should display initiative, be a self-starter and have solid stakeholder management skills · Ability to work closely with leadership in a dynamic and fast paced environment requiring the individual to manage several tasks simultaneously while paying attention to detail and quality · Ability to develop and maintain excellent working relations at all organization levels with internal stakeholders · High on self-motivation, positive attitude and work ethic desired · Ability to work under pressure
