Design Specialist - Senior and Experienced
Experience : 2 to 12 Years of experience
- Candidate must have prior OSP engineering design experience and should be familiar with fiber planning (FTTH) concepts. The candidate should have strong knowledge on Telecom technologies.
- Candidate must have knowledge on Pole Loading Analysis (Quick Pole/SPiDA/Ocalc) and hands on experience and make ready solutions (atleast for 1 year to 3 years work experience on pole analysis)
- Candidate must have knowledge on permits creation with hands-on experience (both Underground and Aerial permits - atleast for 1 year to 3 years work experience on permits creation).
- Candidate should have previous experience in preparation of permit applications and drawings, familiar with reading and extrapolating data from state and local highway plans, scaled engineering plans.
- Experience with copper and fiber network additions, FTTP/FTTN expansion, broadband expansion, GPON architecture, pair gain sites and long-haul fiber deployment is required.
- The candidate must be able to work collaboratively on a team, manage time effectively, and communicate daily progress status to all reporting managers & stakeholders.
- Should have hands on experience in AutoCAD and in designing the Fiber and copper network.
- Should have knowledge on telecom infrastructure such as Point to Point, Point to multipoint and FTTx networks etc.
- Responsible to perform quality checks and prepare deliverables.
- Responsible to meet project KPIs and monthly targets.
- Mentor and guide new teams to achieve daily/monthly targets.
- Knowledge on ISO standards would be an advantage.
