Create monitoring capabilities & alerting for Technical Operations Center (TOC) team members Provide support for our internal deployment framework Perform advanced technical troubleshooting for cloud Enhance system performance and features on a regular basis for enhanced customer experience Lead technical operations projects from requirements, to design, to implementation, to operations. Qualifications 5+ years experience in a system administrator role with at least 3 years supporting DevOps concepts focused on CI/CD and pipeline management. Bachelor's degree level or equivalent in computer science or related field, Master's is a plus. Deployed applications in Amazon AWS, Google, or Azure Proficiency in system design & architecture Fluent in Python and infrastructure management tools (Troposphere, Terraform, etc.) Deploying automation solutions in a public cloud environment such as AWS Strong knowledge of the DevOps toolchain (CI/CD) on the AWS Linux platform: Jenkins, Nexus OSS, Artifactory, Harness, Code Pipeline, Code Build, Code Deploy, GitHub, GitLab, Chocolaty, CloudFormation, JIRA, Strong communication and collaboration skills across the enterprise Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of Linux system administration for an e-commerce business Strong problem-solving skills Operationally savvy, experience with monitoring, alerting, and analyzing system metrics to root cause problems and explain system behaviour Collaboration, drive open communication and reach across functional borders
