Technical Support Specialist

Experience level: 1-3 years


In this role, your eye for detail will ensure that all of our customers are set up with the proper

configurations and network adaptations. We’re searching for folks who like to be hands-on and dive into technical support and configuration Management. This position is more of a tech support along with QA activities


We are looking for:

• Someone familiar with Basic Linux commands, basic network knowledge

(Windows, Linux, RDP etc)

• Someone who has excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

• Someone with customer handling experience

• Someone who has some basic QA experience


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  • Ensure that the completed device installation delights the customer.
  • Setting ROI(Region of Interest) of alarm cameras within a security surveillance software platform.
  • Assist technicians with walk-throughs of cameras and validate install placements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues related to camera connectivity, video quality, and remote access, including network configurations and port forwarding.
  • Run through the prescribed Quality Assurance (QA) process for each location that has our security surveillance system installed, to ensure a perfect operating environment.
  • Communicate through the appropriate processes to ensure that all parties are informed about the status of an installation after a tech visit and any outstanding work to be completed.
