Role: Senior QA Automation Engineer
Location: Hyderabad, India
100% work from office (5 days a week)
Interview : Phone screen followed by in person Interview.
Inperson interview is a must.
Must Have: Automation QA, C#, integration tools.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Maintain Automated Test Scripts:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for mobile applications using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.
Test Planning and Strategy:
- Contribute to test planning and strategy by providing input on test coverage, automation feasibility, and best practices.
- Work closely with QA and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Execution and Analysis:
- Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify defects, performance issues, and other anomalies.
- Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and provide detailed reports on test results.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure timely and consistent validation of mobile application builds.
- Monitor and manage automated test execution within CI/CD environments.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain documentation related to test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts.
- Provide clear and concise reports on test results and automation coverage.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Collaborate with development teams to promote a culture of quality and ensure that automated testing aligns with development processes.
- Communicate effectively with team members, project stakeholders, and management on testing progress and issues.
Stay Updated on Industry Trends:
- Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mobile automation testing.
- Propose and implement improvements to the existing automation framework and processes.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Min of 6 years of experience as Automation Engineer
- Proven experience in mobile automation testing with tools such as Appium, Selenium, or similar.
- Good Experience with Playwright
- Good programming skills in languages such as C#, Kotlin, Swift, or Python.
- Experience with mobile application testing on both iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
