Responsibilities

  • The primary accountability of the Cloud Architect is to design and document complex systems developed in AWS Cloud or Microsoft Azure solution stack.
  • This includes all aspects of the system development life cycle. The individual must have extensive design and development experience working with a wide variety of software and technologies including IoT, highly scalable API platforms, AWS EC2, AWS SQS, Lambda, Elastic Search, Elastic Cache and building highly available and robust applications on AWS Cloud.
  • The individual must be able to work independently, prioritize, and multitask in a dynamic environment, adapt quickly to change, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. The individual must be able to show leadership skills and can lead small teams in design and development efforts. Strong analytical and interpersonal skills are a necessity.
  • Lead complex design sessions, work closely with customers and business partners to establish requirements and develop a given solution.
  • Build proof of concepts
  • Design application using industry best practices and standards. Assist with building the scaffolding of the architecture.
  • The ability to work with and lead diverse teams is a must.
  • Excellent client handling and consultative skills are a must.
  • Support the delivery of solutions by being able to assist the programmers in their tasks.
  • Understand and give guidance on the implementation of concepts of unit testing, system testing, performance testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Understand concepts of project management, and may be responsible for the definition of software development plans including scoping, scheduling, and implementation.
  • Make key decisions, including determining the most appropriate platform to complete application development requests and code quality assurance for the team.
  • Develop processes and procedures to organize workflow that ensures quality, precision, and timeliness of outputs.
  • Handle multiple demands and competing priorities while ensuring deliverables are met.

Requirements

  • Experience (10+ years with at least 3 years as Cloud):
  • 10+ years’ experience in application development using Microsoft stack with at least 3+ years as an Architect.
  • 3+ years experience hands-on experience working with AWS cloud infrastructure set up
  • Expert knowledge of SAML 2.0, OpenID Connect and OAuth 2.0
  • Working knowledge experience in modern SPA/Microservices application architecture
  • Working knowledge in IaaS, and PaaS on MS Azure and AWS Cloud.
  • DevOps experience, specifically with GitHub and AWS DevOps tools.
  • Working experience in Java, NET Core, React JS, ASP.NET CORE and JavaScrip.
  • AWS cloud certifications, MS Azure Certifications
  • Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation.
