About the role
Trusted Media Brands is seeking a motivated Streaming Yield Analyst who will work as part of the TMB Revenue Intelligence team to help grow our media business globally. The position will be primarily tasked with analyzing and modeling direct and non-direct inventory / revenue trends, evaluating TMB’s market pricing presence, and developing a system of sound reporting infrastructure.
About you
The ideal candidate is an analytics professional with experience having worked on both direct and non-direct revenue ecosystems. We’re looking for an individual that is keen on making a meaningful impact to revenue growth, has the ability to think strategically when evaluating data, and able to convey actionable takeaways in a concise manner to key stakeholders within the local and outside teams. Must have a strong team mentality.
This position will report to the Associate Director, Revenue Intelligence.
Location
This position is based in our office in Gurgaon, India. We enjoy a hybrid culture, and you will have the flexibility to work in our office and from home.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and effectively communicate daily trends that impact revenue to the executive team and other internal stakeholders
  • Develop monthly/quarterly revenue modeling/forecasting and identifying trends across those periods
  • Manage the compilation of any Yield and Inventory related reporting on a Daily, Weekly, and Monthly basis
  • Provide accurate inventory forecasting and identify growth opportunities for the Direct and Programmatic business units
  • Build on the existing data infrastructure and develop new automated reporting tools/processes in order to keep pace with a dynamic business environment, with perspective on short-term and long-term performance goals
  • Develop a deep understanding of product-specific costs to drive rate card decisions and pricing strategies
  • Understand, scope, and deliver on adhoc questions and A/B tests with clear and actionable results
  • Work cross-functionally with revenue facing teams to ensure we're properly tracking performance of 3rd Party Partners
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Strong analytical background, managing large data sets and providing succinct analytical feedback
  • Experience with online Ad Tech platforms such as SpringServe is preferred
  • Data analytics experience preferred, with the ability to use revenue data to tell a story and generate useful insights for the sales and partnerships teams
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel data skills
  • Data or unified analytics platform experience such as Looker or Staq is preferred
  • The ability to clearly communicate ideas to peers and senior leadership
  • Motivated to take on projects from start to finish
  • Willingness to work US Eastern Time Zone (9am EST – 6pm EST)
