Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Automation Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both manual and automation testing, with a focus on web and mobile testing. Experience in utilizing Selenium, Appium, and Cucumber for test automation is essential, along with proficiency in Jenkins CI/CD for continuous integration and continuous deployment. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be adept at working with APIs. Experience with cloud platform execution, particularly with Browserstack or Experitest, is highly desirable. The candidate should also have experience in testing across IOS and Android platforms using different browsers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and Appium for web and mobile applications.
- Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the quality of software applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and provide effective testing solutions.
- Implement and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment processes using Jenkins CI/CD.
- Conduct web and mobile testing, including cross-browser testing and platform compatibility testing.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to report test results and provide status updates.
- Utilize cloud platforms such as Browserstack or Experitest for testing execution (Good to have).
- Work with APIs for testing purposes (Good to have).
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Java for test automation.
- Strong experience with Selenium and Appium for web and mobile automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD).
- Knowledge of Jenkins CI/CD for automated deployment and testing.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in both manual and automation testing.
