Job description:

SNOW Capabilities

  • Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, such as client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled job, import sets and transform maps, ACLs and notifications, Flow Designer, Script Includes etc
  • Develop custom integration components (SSO, CMDB, SAS connectors etc.) and integrate legacy systems with ServiceNow using mid-server, web services, chatops, email and other relevant technologies
  • Develop existing and custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications
  • Hands-on experience in Service Catalog/Service Portal modules
  • Create and use update sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances
  • Design for and maintain a highly available and recoverable environment
  • Provide administrative ServiceNow support, including advanced support via troubleshooting, implementing bug fixes and root cause analysis
  • Document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow platform and its SDLC
  • Responsible for reviewing requirements to ensure that they are provided in enough detail to be accurately estimated
  • Work with process managers to fully understand business functionality, pain points, and areas of improvements
  • Commit to the continuous improvement and learning of development and ServiceNow best practices, tools and technology
  • Proactively keep ServiceNow skills current
  • Mentor and share technical knowledge with service management team


E

  • EUC Automation BOT Solution lead, EUC Automation for Solution design with respect to solutions, Runbooks, and AI/ML Algorithm Responsibilities Identification, Design, and Deliver - Automation solution, RB, & AIOPS use cases Internal coordination for Automation tool and Infrastructure provisioning
  • Manage group of Developers and ensure team KPI s and self KPI s are driven
  • Produce Timeline/Sprint view for team development planning.
  • Ensure regular quality checks and assessment of designs and adherence to development standards
  • Manage a healthy Automation repository at all time, and build process to sustain growth.
  • Enable a strong learning and development culture within the team to ensure constant Upskilling Required Skills & Competencies
  • Understanding of DWP (EUC) Operations
  • Automation tools like ServiceNow orchestrator, ITPAM orchestrator, MSSCORCH etc.,ML/Analytics tools like BI, ServiceNow ITOM etc., Runbook techniques like Shell scripting, Power shell, Python, etc. Agile fundamentals, Azure Devops to manage end to end development life cycle
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - Interact with BU heads, Solution Architects & leadership with ability to communicate both business and technology requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stake holders to get things done mainly with line of influence
  • Proven experience in documentation (Excel, Word, power point, Project) and Client presentations


Scripting

Good Windows PowerShell scripting experience

Hands-on with PowerShell Workflows development

Experience in developing PowerShell DSC resources

Good hands-On experience and strong in Windows PowerShell, Unix Shell Scripting or Python/Perl Programming knowledge.

Knowledge on Java, Apache Groovy is a plus.

Sql Server Database writing DML and DDLs is a plus. Knowledge in process tools like ServiceNow, Network knowledge


Minimum Qualifications:


  • 3-5 years of experience of ServiceNow development
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT service management process design
  • ServiceNow System Admin & ServiceNow Developer Certification
  • Overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite
  • Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to the ServiceNow integration solutions including: ServiceNow API’s, SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST, SCP, FTPS
  • Ability to apply business concepts into a technical solution
  • Web portal development skills, such as HTML, CSS, Angular JS, bootstrap
  • Experience implementing the following Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, Request, and CMDB, Service Portal and Third Party Integrations
  • Ability to create reports using the standard reporting engine, plus metrics and SLAs
  • Follow ServiceNow best practices (including scripting, security, implementation)
  • Display aptitude in learning new modules based on training materials
  • Experience with collaboration across functional borders enterprise-wise (i.e. within and outside of IT)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • ITIL foundation and IT4IT certification
