Must Haves

• 18+ years of overall in custom application and mobile development, with at least 8-10 years in a leadership role with demonstrated success and outcomes.
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, or a related field.
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with a track record of successfully managing development teams.
• In-depth knowledge of the entire software development life cycle, with experience in developing solutions using Services Orientated Architectures (SOA), micro-services etc.
• Extensive experience in conducting Cloud Readiness Assessments observing business and technical perspective with working knowledge of infrastructure including servers, storage, firewalls, load balancers, routers, etc. using AWS/Azure
• Knowledge of mobile development frameworks (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Xamarin) and platforms (iOS, Android).
• Understanding of web development technologies, including front-end (MEAN Stack, CSS, JavaScript etc.) and back-end (Node.js, .NET etc.) and familiarity with various database management systems (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling concepts.
• Awareness of emerging technologies such as GenAI, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Blockchain, and their potential applications.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to lay audiences.
• Ability to travel as required domestically and / or internationally.
• Willing to work in 24X7 environment.

Essential Functions

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the delivery of applications and mobile solutions, aligning with overall business objectives.
• Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software applications and mobile projects, ensuring they meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.
• Provide technical leadership in architectural design decisions for applications and mobile solutions in collaboration with project managers to allocate resources, manage risks, and resolve issues.
• Build relationships with key business leaders and sponsors other stakeholders to drive uptake of innovation projects, define project vision, scope, requirements, and deliverables.
• Oversee the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure streamlining and automation of the deployment process for faster and more reliable releases.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards, version control practices, and development methodologies.
• Responsible for maintaining the Governance and reporting on projects to Business units, Leadership, Clients etc.
• Maintain awareness of new and emerging technologies such as Generative AI, machine learning, mobility, artificial intelligence and dynamic analytics and the potential application of these technologies.
• Drafting best practices to improve speed to market of custom application development by leveraging techniques to generate code using Generative AI.
• Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art tools, technologies, reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organization.
