Qualification

A University degree (M.Tech. / B.Tech) or equivalent in the field of engineering, natural science, or related discipline


Experience

15+ years’ experience in the field of Climate change, carbon credit market or GHG emission reduction areas.


Position Summary

  • Shall be responsible for multiple Certification body (CB) and Validation & Verification Body (VVB) Operational management. The CBs and VVBs are typically working in the field of CDM/GS/VCS/ISO 14065/ ISO 17065, etc.
  • Shall have knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements wrt to CDM/GS/VCS/ISO 14065/ ISO 17065, etc.
  • Shall be responsible for managing accreditation and quality delivery under CB and VVB along with respective CB/VVB manager and QA manager.
  • Knowledge of Climate Change Policies, reporting standards including relevant ISO standards, GHG Protocol, UNFCCC guidance and IPCC Guidelines.
  • Should have excellent communication and presentation skills and should be able to liaison and coordinate internally with various Legal entities and externally with the Govt., and Private associations.


Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall accreditation (existing as well as new) under CB and VVB to ensure smooth climate change business for the group.
  • Manager various CB and developing team to handle growing business.
  • Ensuring adherence to the standard and quality of project delivery. Supervise quality implementation of validation and/or verification/certification procedures globally.
  • Brining harmonization and uniform governance structure across all CBs
  • Develop and maintain TUV SUD own standards / guideline for product, process, and organization.
  • Ensure team development by training and qualifications of auditors via various CBs
  • Maintain the competence of its validation and/or verification personnel and manage a team size of 5-15 personnel directly and indirectly.
  • Responsible for handling internal and external audits along with respective CB managers
  • Representing TUV SUD globally in various local and international forum related to climate action certification.
