Key Responsibilities The candidate should possess a reasonable knowledge of the processes related to the credit appraisal of Finance (Fund Finance) / Structured Finance and that of monitoring such loans on a continuous basis. Preparing credit reports (annual/quarterly reviews) by including profile of the counterparty, key rating considerations, credit risk assessment, (including financial & peer analysis, rating rationale, outlook etc.) The candidate should be able to review collateral reports, fund reports and financial performance of assets. Should demonstrate understanding of loan agreements and applicable covenants related to subscription finance like Asset coverage ratio, Loan to Value Test, Net Asset Value Test and Undrawn capital commitments Test. The candidate should have experience in monitoring covenant levels, calculate the covenant headroom, cash sweep etc. The candidate should have sound understanding of borrowing base, Investor (LP’s) Analysis of financial statements including Income statement, Balance Sheet & cash flow of public & private companies for the credit appraisal process Key Competencies Strong understanding of credit principles, policies, and regulations MBA (Finance) / CA (CPA equivalent) / CFA Experience of 5-10 years in credit report writing Experience in facing the onshore origination team will be an added advantage. Clear and logical thinking to understand client’s requirements. Candidates who are working on lending to PE Funds/Asset managers or are working at a KPO/Captive and are closely involved in these processes will be given preference.
