Website: http://www.cardekho.com Position Overview: As a Cost controller, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency of the organization. This position requires a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership. You will be responsible for overseeing finance operations and controllership with respect to cost. The role demands 70% finance operations and 30% finance controllership. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Operations Management : Lead and oversee day-to-day financial operations of accounts payable with respect to Invoice processing, employee reimbursements, payroll processing, intercompany transactions etc. Review of payable aging’s, open cash advances, trendlines etc. Interface with all department heads and other personnel to obtain information necessary for cost control purposes. Conducting cost analyses to identify areas where costs can be reduced or eliminated altogether. Coordinating with other departments such as human resources, payroll, accounting, and finance to ensure that all costs are accurately tracked. Implement and streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial transactions align with organizational goals and policies. 2. Controllership: Run end to end monthly Books closure with respect to Cost and accounts payable. Prepare Provisions and schedules of all cost related ledgers. Develop and maintain SOP for cost control systems and procedures. Prepare schedules and reports for Financial statements and MIS. Maintain a robust internal control environment to ensure compliance with financial regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Assist and participate in audit procedures with respect to cost. 3. Team Leadership: Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment to maximize team effectiveness. Requirements Must be a Chartered Accountant with 7-10 years of Experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel Previous experience in finance operations like Accounts payable, Record to report, cost controller. Required Soft Skills Strong financial analysis and reporting skills Excellent communication and interpersonal Skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
