Head of Channel Sales

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Channel Sales Head specializing in WiFi products to drive sales strategies, manage partnerships, and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in channel sales, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets within the technology industry.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute effective channel sales strategies to drive revenue growth for WiFi products.
  • Identify, recruit, and manage channel partners (Redington or Ingram Micro), including distributors, resellers, and VARs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling sales and marketing materials for channel partners.
  • Train and support channel partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of product features, benefits, and value propositions.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Forecast sales projections and set targets for channel partners to meet company objectives.
  • Monitor channel partner performance, provide regular performance reports, and implement improvement plans as needed.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including partners, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and promote WiFi products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns and initiatives targeted at channel partners and end customers.

Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience 8-10 years in channel sales within the technology sector, preferably with WiFi or networking products.
  • Strong understanding of channel partner ecosystems, distribution channels, and sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to make strategic decisions.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Certifications in sales or channel management.
  • Previous experience working with major WiFi product manufacturers.
  • Familiarity with the latest technological advancements in the WiFi industry
