This is a senior role responsible for creating and evolving Power BI Datasets. The candidate must have expertise and 5 years or more experience in designing analytical data models using the DAX language and Power BI. Experience with SQL based data warehouses is essential. This role requires strong technical skills, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly. Responsibilities Design and develop analytical data models using the DAX language and Power BI Create and maintain Power BI Datasets Work with SQL based data warehouses Collaborate with internal business customers to understand their data and reporting needs Identify Data Mappings from D365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, D365 Sales and Marketing Implementation and monitoring of controlled reporting landscape Data Management from D365 Finance to Azure SQL database Creation and maintenance of views in Azure SQL database from multiple data sources Maintenance of stored procedures, triggers, indexes in SQL database Support migration of reports to new Data Warehouse Troubleshoot and fix BI issues Troubleshoot and fix Data Integration issues Delivery of data from D365 applications to BYOD for reporting purposes Personal Attributes A seasoned and thoroughly experienced individual who can bring exceptional levels of expertise in: Designing analytical data models using the DAX language and Power BI Working with SQL based data warehouses Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance Data Mappings Microsoft PowerBi Reports, Dashboards, Dataflows, Gateways Azure SQL Server OData Proven troubleshooting skills Degree level education in a relevant data/analytical discipline Benefits and Perks Flexible working arrangements Competitive pay hikes and bonus packages Skill enhancement and growth opportunities Equal opportunity employment Health and wellbeing programmes Collaborative work with a truly global team A Culture of Belonging Synamedia is committed to promoting a diverse, inclusive and equal opportunity community - a place where we can all be ourselves and succeed.
