Duties:
- Prepare hot runner designs as per standards laid down and based on mould design data from customers such as 3D data and 2D drawing of moulds
- Propose design changes to customer based on application guidelines
- Design in consideration of cost and productivity requirements
- Communicate with manufacturing for special parts / design
- Create “Bill of Material” from ERP, run due checks and release for manufacturing
- Maintain master data
- Ability to communicate and work with overseas customers and affiliates
- Customer oriented and highly responsive to external and internal customers
Skills Required:
- Degree or Diploma Engineer in “Mechanical “ or “Tool Engineering”
- 5-7 years of experience in designing of moulds or hot runners
- Knowledge of plastic injection moulding process is essential
- Proficiency in Siemens NX
- Prior experience in SAP R/3
- Good in communication and sense of responsibility
