You’ll be glad you make the right choice to join us. As a Datacenter Lead in the Global Architecture team, you’re at the core of one of the largest services in our global organization. As part of a small group of technology experts, you will identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand and protect our core server and systems supporting multiple large services and all our associates, worldwide. Essential duties and responsibilities: As the Datacenter Lead , you will identify, recommend, and implement innovative solutions and best practices to continuously improve, expand, and protect our Core Infrastructure solutions, supporting multiple large services and all our associates, worldwide. Your experience in the IT Infrastructure industry will allow you to support migrations, integrations, and improvement projects, related to our Core Infrastructure Services to support the growth of our businesses through, for example, mergers and acquisitions , Infrastructure modernization and maturity etc. Skills: Strong understanding of data center technologies and best practices Experience with a variety of data center infrastructure solutions Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and documentation skills Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to ensure infrastructure capacity meets existing and future requirements Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure administration and project management Participate in the development of IT strategies in collaboration with peer and senior management Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all in-scope infrastructure systems Assist with the implementation and evangelization of cyber security best practices and lead cyber incident response/management if necessary Assist with the planning and deployment of infrastructure security measures Hands on Experience with virtualization, Compute Storage, Backup, Datacentre Networking, technologies Certified by a professional organization, such as the Uptime Institute or the Cloud Computing Association Experience with cloud computing technologies Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning Experience with security compliance Strong leadership and communication skills Responsibilities: Develop and maintain data center architecture roadmap Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope Design and implement data center infrastructure solutions Manage data center projects from inception to completion Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards Stay up-to-date on new technologies and best practices In addition to the above, Data Center Architects will also be responsible for the following: Preparing budgets and forecasts for data center projects Evaluating and selecting vendors for data center equipment and services Managing the day-to-day operations of the data center Conducting performance reviews of data center staff Developing and implementing disaster recovery and business continuity plans Education and/or Experience: Terraform infrastructure as code implementations. to adapt to a dynamic environment and changing business requirements. collaborative, successful in a matrixed and geographically diverse environment. and results oriented. degree (preferred) written and spoken English.
