Basic Information


Position Title – Process Leader – General Ledger

Experience Level – 4 to 5 years

Department - Finance

Location – Gurgaon

Position reports to - Associate Director


Key Responsibilities


  • Audit closure i.e. Internal audit, statutory audit, Internal audit etc., work involved would be assist in preparing of financial statements, sharing backup info., preparing various schedules to facilitate audits, front ending discussion with Auditors and taking this to closure,
  • Month-close activities like posting of Journal entries, preparing month-end accruals, work on ledger reconciliations including Bank reconciliation, other related activities etc.,
  • Prepare monthly schedules of Balance sheet & Profit and loss,
  • Ensure proper accounting policies and principles are followed in accordance with GAAP,
  • Assist in project implementation of new procedures to enhance the workflow of the department,
  • Ensure compliance of internal controls as related to IFC process testing,
  • Work with and support the accounting team in day-to-day activities, special projects, and workflow process improvements,
  • Assist in responses to be filed with tax authorities for assessment notices,
  • Working on statutory compliances like TDS, Equalization levy, GST returns, quarterly eTDS returns, other related compliances,


Key Competencies


  • Qualification: CA with 4 – 5 years of experience
  • Prior experience in statutory audit
  • Follow internal controls as set by organization,
  • Good communication & interpersonal skills,
  • Other ad hoc activities relating to Finance function,
  • Working knowledge on NetSuite is an added advantage.
