Job Description:

As a Workday Payroll Consultant at Techsaga Corporations, you will play a crucial role in implementing, configuring, and maintaining Workday Payroll systems that cater to the specific regulatory and business needs of our clients in the UK and US. You will work closely with clients to ensure the successful deployment and optimization of their payroll processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement Analysis: Collaborate with clients to gather, analyze, and document payroll requirements specific to the UK / US.
  • Configuration: Configure and optimize Workday Payroll modules to meet client-specific requirements, including earning and deduction codes, tax setups, pay groups, and other payroll elements.
  • Testing and Validation: Conduct comprehensive system testing and validation to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance with regional regulations.
  • Client Training: Provide expert guidance and training to clients on Workday Payroll functionalities, best practices, and process improvements.
  • Implementation Support: Support clients throughout the full implementation lifecycle, from planning and design to testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
  • Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to payroll processing, tax calculations, and regulatory compliance promptly.
  • Data Migration: Assist with data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading of payroll data into Workday.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of Workday Payroll with other systems.
  • Industry Updates: Stay current on Workday Payroll enhancements, industry trends, and regulatory changes in the UK / US.


Qualifications:

  • Certification: Workday Payroll Certification is required.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting Workday Payroll solutions.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements in both the UK and US.
  • Technical Skills: Proven experience with configuring Workday Payroll, including payroll setup, earnings, deductions, taxes, and reporting.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Additional Skills: Experience with other Workday modules, such as Human Capital Management (HCM) and Benefits, is a plus.
