Objective (Purpose of the Job) The position holder is responsible for ensuring the timely closing of the financials and proactively managing the Reporting requirements and ensuring strong control on the financial statement. Key Responsibilities: Lead Implementation of any new internal/regulatory changes into the IT system, prepare BRD and coordination with required functions including IT team for implementation of the same. Testing the required regulatory/internal changes to the system in UAT/Production environment. Ensuring that all the changes to the system are up and running error free post implementation. Lead digital initiatives in Finance. Provide thought to leadership in digitizing manual processes and ensure its implementation. Prepare timely monthly financial statements as per applicable generally accepted accounting principles (Ind AS, IFRS). Prepare and submit the various reports required as per HQ regulatory guidelines. Ensure that month-end, quarter-end and year-end close process is completed accurately and on time. Manage and comply with HQ reporting requirements. Prepare, analyze and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Provide all the necessary details and documents to auditors and coordinate with auditors for closure of Statutory Audit, internal Audit, Group Audit for all accounting matters and financial statements. Prepare Balance sheet reconciliations including all standard entries. Prepare Expense reconciliations including maintenance/reconciliation of expense accruals. Co-ordinate with various functions for adequate expense provisions and ensuring books are protected and covered. Work with various biz functions to understand the new product introduction and laying down the requirements for associated change in financial processes. Preparation of deferral working & monthly variance control on the same Manage of Fixed asset schedules & Lease accounting Support of ongoing projects Desired Skills: 7-8 years of post-qualification (CA) experience in financial accounting and auditing preferably in Financial Services Hands on experience of Monthly closing, Reporting, provisions and reconciliations, preparation of MIS, handling of audits, preparation of monthly financials and schedules Working knowledge of accounting standards, IND AS is a must, IFRS would be an added advantage Can independently prepare final accounts for a listed company & independently manage the HQ Reporting requirements. Good knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standard law & NBFSs regulations and well versed with Direct and Indirect Taxation Knowledge of Ratio analysis, variance analysis, study of financial statements of company`
