Job Profile

As an Embedded software engineer (Senior Research Engineer) at Saint-Gobain Research India, you will be working on complete Systems simulation, Firmware developing and testing of automotive ECU software including complete system level architecting, development and vendor management, coordinating with project managers carrying out new product development.


Qualification

  • Masters (ME/MTech/MS) / Bachelors in Embedded systems design/Electronics & Communication
  • 8+ years of experience in the relevant domains mentioned below


Relevant Experience/Skills

· Architecting & Hands-on experience in SDLC, Software architecture design, development & testing.

· Hands on working on Requirement analysis, deriving Level 1 requirements. Develops , analyzes and support the ECU Project manager the impact of ECU System Requirements, System Functionality Requirements and Software Requirements, in collaboration with the system architect.

· Creates and updates the planning for the project-specific SW development (schedule, cost and resource planning) and their priorities to be executed by the SW project team

· Coordinates the planning of SW requirement management, SW configuration, change request management and SW quality assurance

· Planning tracking and documentation of quality assurance measures and metrics in the sub-project

· Analysis and evaluation of issues and risks for the SW Project

· Responsible for Change Request Management in the customer project

· Responsible for System and SW requirements analysis, internal request of System and SW components, putting into operation and requirements based test of new systems. Coordinates Change Requests between customer project, customer platform and function development

· Experience in model based development and auto coding tools (MATLAB/ SIMULINK)

· Hands on working on preparation of System level test cases for functional testing.

· Experience and Hands on working on the SW development process compliant with ASPICE standards, MISRA guidelines.

· Manage the end to end process of ECU development lifecycle

· Must have Automotive domain knowledge. Hands on Autosar development is an added advantage.

· Willingness to work in all kind of Embedded development phases.

· Automotive safety ASIL Development knowledge Preferred.

· Exposure to HIL or vehicle validation Dspace /NI systems preferred.

· ADAS development Control systems concepts – Automotive systems.
