Security Engineering Lead

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Security Engineering Lead. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in overseeing Network and Product Security, Vulnerability Management, Secure SDLC, Application and offensive security, Mobile and API Security. Roles & Responsibilities: Product Security ● Lead and execute security assessments for applications, ensuring a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks. ● Providing security guidance on all new products and technologies within the organization. ● Advocate secure coding and design principles, build frameworks to automate security testing and conduct security assessments to unearth critical vulnerabilities. ● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development lifecycle. Threat Modeling ● Develop and maintain a comprehensive threat modeling for mobile applications and infrastructure to enumerate threats and mitigation strategies. ● Enable the developers with knowledge of threat modeling by conducting focused workshops. Vulnerability Assessment and Management ● Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts. ● Implement and manage a comprehensive vulnerability management program to remediate and track security issues. Offensive Security ● Lead offensive security initiatives, including penetration testing and ethical hacking activities to identify and address vulnerabilities. ● Stay current with the latest attack techniques and tools, providing insights to enhance our defensive strategies. DevSecOps ● Integrate security practices into the DevOps pipeline, promoting a culture of security awareness and responsibility. ● Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle. Requirements and Qualifications: ● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field is must. ● 6-8 years of proven experience in security engineering roles. ● In-depth knowledge of product security, threat modeling, vulnerability assessment, offensive security, and DevSecOps. ● Strong understanding of security principles and best practices. ● Knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations. Skills and Abilities ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ● Proven leadership experience in guiding security initiatives. ● Ability to analyze complex systems and identify security risks. ● Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. ● Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and emerging threats.
