Role Associate Director (Technical Architect) JOB DESCRIPTION Experience: Minimum 17+ years of experience in technology development or automation, with at least 5 - 7 years of dedicated experience in machine learning, AI, and particularly generative AI technologies.Role and Responsibilities• Define and oversee the execution of the organization's vision and strategy for generative AI technology, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and driving industry leadership.• Lead, inspire, and further build a high-performing team of machine learning professionals, encouraging continuous learning and innovation at all levels.• Engage with senior executive leadership to establish and refine the company's generative AI roadmap, securing buy-in and resources for cutting-edge initiatives.• Spearhead the evaluation and strategic integration of state-of-the-art generative AI technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to maintain competitive advantage.• Cultivate a culture of excellence in innovation, fostering an environment that supports groundbreaking research and development within the generative AI space.• Oversee the development and deployment of sophisticated generative AI models and algorithms, ensuring they provide transformative solutions to critical business challenges.• Establish robust partnerships with leading research institutions, tech companies, and industry thought leaders to enhance organizational capabilities and knowledge.• Drive collaboration among various teams, including AI research scientists, data engineers, product managers, and business units, to ensure seamless execution of generative AI projects.• Set and uphold rigorous standards in data practices, model development, and algorithm performance to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.• Act as a principal technical advisor, enriching the organization's knowledge base and fostering an environment where mentorship and professional development are paramount.• Articulate complex generative AI concepts and project statuses to a range of stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.• Remain at the cutting edge of generative AI, machine learning, and broader technological developments, translating insights into strategic opportunities.• Proactively identify and address potential risks in generative AI projects, including ethical considerations, regulatory compliance, and data governance.• Work in close coordination with legal, compliance, and ethical teams to ensure that generative AI practices meet the highest standards of integrity and societal impact. Technical Skills• Deep expertise in generative AI algorithms and models, including commercial and open source LLM models.• Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and mastery over machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Pytorch, Keras).• Possessing exceptional expertise and practical experience in Generative AI frameworks, such as LangChain and LlamaIndex, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the various techniques and subtleties involved in developing applications based on Large Language Models (LLMs).• Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing and machine learning services across platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.• Substantial experience and a broad exposure to code companion tools, demonstrating a robust proficiency in utilizing these supportive technologies to enhance coding efficiency and accuracy.• Strong familiarity with advanced containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable AI model deployment.• Strategic insight into data engineering and architecture, including expertise in building robust data pipelines, lakes, and warehouses.• A solid grasp of software development lifecycle best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and automated testing.• Profound knowledge of NLP and computer vision, with hands-on experience in deploying models for complex language and visual tasks.• Proficient in architecting and proposing cloud-based generative AI solutions, with a deep understanding of cloud services and infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) that support scalable, high-performance AI workloads.• Demonstrated experience in leveraging cloud-native tools for machine learning lifecycle management, including model training, deployment, monitoring, and scaling to meet the dynamic needs of enterprise clients.• Significant experience with AI observability tools showcasing a strong understanding of monitoring and managing AI systems to ensure their performance and reliability.• Exceptional analytical abilities, capable of dissecting intricate datasets to derive strategic insights and drive impactful decisions.• In-depth awareness of data privacy, security, and ethical issues in AI, with the ability to translate these into organizational policies and procedures.• Outstanding leadership and communication skills, adept at team building, stakeholder engagement, and driving change across the organization.Employee Status : Full Time EmployeeShift : Day JobTravel : NoJob Posting : Apr 12 2024
