What You'll Do (Job Role) manage and grow the RF & Microwave Design team which is responsible for developing and manufacturing complex RF subsystems/systems for Strategic Electronics Applications the team of design engineers and work with operations team to develop and industrialize RF/Microwave subsystems for strategic electronics applications contributing to revenue growth. for Radar System level conceptualization, architecture development, RF chain budgeting, system level simulations, Detailed Design & Engineering of Electronic systems & subassemblies including Development of electrical schemes, General assembly, Connection diagrams, Test instructions, Selection of electronic components and interconnects for ground based, airborne and shipboard radar and electronic warfare applications including space radar. to interact with the cross functional teams (RF, Digital, Power, Mechanical, PCB layout, Control System Design & Software development) for executing the Radar system. for Unit / Subsystem level testing, assembly & integration, system Testing & Validation trials at customer premises. in the EM Simulation tools (ADS, HFSS, CST) hands-on experience up to Ka Band Frequency. experience in design, development, integration and testing of Phased Array (AESA) operating in L, S or X-Band and mechanically steerable arrays. to performs trade studies, modelling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component, interconnects and system performance and to optimize design around established requirements. to play active role in interacting technically with respective stake holder within design and outside design along with interaction with customer for technical clarification and approval. to train your team members for product development process and all the analysis such as Derating, Reliability, DFMEA, FMECA, FTA, WCA, Theta-JC etc. for IPR Creation (Patents, Papers…) for fostering innovation, protection of ideas and establishing design & development-oriented company. Productivity enhancement & continuous improvements by utilizing innovative solutions/new technologies. to meet Project schedule by taking all necessary proactive action for the timely delivery of products/systems to customers. Manage the team to ensure effective and productive use of resources. Prepare design proposals by understanding the customer requirements and offer end-to-end design solution. Come out with cost effective Product design solutions. Who You Are: a minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in the design, development, integration and testing of radar, preferably for defense, space, and aerospace sectors. Technical knowledge on RF, Microwave, and application of Electromagnetics; RF theory on the current production/process technology for RF. on Circuit Design, Simulation, Test and Debug experience. versed with Space/MIL standards in RF modelling and simulation. of EMI/EMC Effects, proficiency with RF measurement techniques and equipment. Educational Background: Tech /M.Tech. in Electronics & Communications other additional qualification associated with RF Design Work Location: Bangalore, Yelahanka New Town
