AB InBev India is looking to hire Manager-BFC for its Finance team based out Kolkata.


Primary Purpose of the role

- Responsible for providing support for Brewery’s financial requirements

- Financial discipline, maintaining budgetary and internal controls in line with SOPs

- Responsible for tracking business performance, ensuring compliance, and Cost

Centre-wise alignment of all financial transactions

- Working on Month close, Journals, Accruals and Tax entries

- Controlling the Brewery Inventory, Fixed Assets and verifying the E2E GL schedules

for Respective Brewery with clear understanding of open points

Working with all the Audit requirements and coordinating

- Assist the Line Manager implementing related Finance projects and standardization

- Ensure EP implementing well and achieve the required scores

1)Routine management

- Maintenance of proper and accurate books of accounts of breweries in accordance

with Company’s standards with accurate month closure process.

- Providing assistance in ensuring timely and accurate preparation of Monthly

Reports (Profitability statements, TB analysis, month end schedules etc.).

- Planning the availability of funds for Excise, Customs duty, taxes and other

payments on time.

- Monitoring and highlighting several variances against budgets/standards to ensure

all basic internal controls are in place in the units pertaining to financial transactions.

- Ensuring optimum income from Scrap generation (AR) & proper reconciliation of

relevant GL's.

- Study financial viability and credit worthiness of the customers w.r.t Scrap sales and

assess who can offer the best rate for the company along with adhering to the

company norms.

- Ensuring compliance are met on various accounting / financial / commercial / Tax

matters, e.g. statutory payments, banks, tax authorities, vendors, customers etc.

- Providing assistance w.r.t clean Audit – Statutory, Tax and other Govt. Audits.

- Issue/collect all statutory C-forms and ensure no tax liability and timely

assessments.

- Timely preparation of all TDS / TCS reports.

- Acting as a Local Subject Matter Experts (SME) of entire region for all Finance and

Control activities.

- Assisting in implementation of Delegation of Authority (DAG) and all published

company policies having financial or commercial implications & Support Operations

on commercials issues.

- Think out of box and initiate Cost Savings by optimizing cash management

- CA

Experience

4 to 6 years of retail or equivalent management experience+ Article ship
