Job Summary:

Job Title: Large Bids Sales Strategy Specialist- Should be APMP certified

Overview: As a Large Bids Sales Strategy Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing winning sales strategies for large-scale bids and proposals. You will collaborate with various internal teams to craft compelling proposals that meet the needs of potential clients while ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives. Your expertise in sales strategy, market analysis, and client engagement will be pivotal in securing high-value contracts and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development:
  • Lead the development of comprehensive sales strategies for large bids and proposals.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, finance, and operations to align strategies with company goals.
  • Proposal Management:
  • Manage the end-to-end proposal process, including requirements gathering, solution design, pricing, and submission.
  • Ensure proposals are tailored to meet client needs and address key pain points effectively.
  • Coordinate with subject matter experts to incorporate technical insights and innovative solutions into proposals.
  • Client Engagement:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and negotiations to understand requirements and communicate value propositions effectively.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns to enhance satisfaction and trust.
  • Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:
  • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the profitability and feasibility of large bids.
  • Assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard against uncertainties.
  • Ensure proposals are financially viable and aligned with budgetary constraints.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Monitor sales performance and proposal outcomes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement best practices and innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Provide feedback and insights to internal teams to optimize processes and drive continuous growth.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in sales strategy development, preferably in a large bids or complex sales environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
