Job Title: Solution Architect - APM/Observability


Job Description:


As a Solution Architect within the Birlasoft AIOps Group, specializing in Application Performance Management (APM) and Observability, your role is pivotal in designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end monitoring solutions tailored to the needs of our clients' complex software applications and IT infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with clients, development teams, and operations staff to ensure optimal system performance and swift issue resolution.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Solution Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and architect comprehensive monitoring solutions encompassing application performance, infrastructure health, and user experience monitoring.


2. Technology Evaluation: Evaluate and recommend APM and observability tools, platforms, and frameworks suited to the unique requirements of Birlasoft clients, with a focus on scalability, flexibility, and seamless integration.


3. Implementation: Lead the implementation of monitoring solutions, configuring monitoring agents, establishing dashboards and alerts, and seamlessly integrating with existing systems and workflows.


4. Performance Optimization: Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, collaborating with development teams to implement performance optimizations.


5. Troubleshooting: Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting performance and availability issues, utilizing monitoring tools and diagnostic techniques to swiftly identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.


6. Proof of Concept (PoC): Lead PoC initiatives for APM solutions, specifically AppDynamics and Dynatrace, to evaluate their effectiveness and alignment with Birlasoft's AIOps strategies.


7. Documentation and Training: Develop comprehensive documentation, best practices, and training materials to empower teams in effectively utilizing and maintaining the monitoring infrastructure.


8. Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in APM and observability, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance monitoring capabilities and drive operational excellence within Birlasoft's AIOps initiatives.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

- Proven experience in solution architecture, with a focus on APM, observability, or related areas.

- Demonstrated experience leading Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives for APM solutions, specifically AppDynamics and Dynatrace.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, IT operations, and cloud computing platforms.

- Proficiency in APM and observability tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, New Relic, Datadog, Splunk, ELK stack, etc.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
