The Role:

A Senior Business Analyst (SBA) in Saras Analytics plays a pivotal role in understanding and translating business needs into technical requirements. The SBA collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyse data, identify trends, and contribute to the development and improvement of solutions. This role requires a combination of business acumen and technical understanding to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the ecommerce platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to understand the requirements by conducting workshops and translating business needs to technical requirements.
  • Lead multiple projects; managing project scope; adjusting schedules when necessary; determining daily priorities; ensuring efficient and on-time delivery of project tasks and milestones; following proper escalation paths
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
  • Guide analysts and BI developers in case of roadblocks and ensuring success of the project
  • Creating performance reports to update leadership team and clients on project progress
  • Conduct thorough data analysis to identify patterns and trends with client data and propose growth ideas

Qualifications

  • MBA from a premiere institute
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role (3-4 years of experience)

Requirements

Technical Requirements (Mandatory)

  • Mandatory Client handling experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and Power point
  • Advanced general aptitude and critical thinking ability
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic SQL (Extract and analyze data from BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift)
  • Exposure to Visualization tools – At least one of PowerBI, Tableau, DataStudio/Looker
  • Working knowledge of SDLC lifecycle and collaborating with product and engineering teams
  • Working knowledge of Agile practices and sprint management in tools like JIRA or Asana.

  • Act as an SME by leading trainings for business stakeholders and mentoring juniors as needed.
  • Showcase detail-orientation and creativity to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.

Good To Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields like Computer Science from reputed academic institutions
  • Experience working in eCommerce or digitally native organizations.
  • Conceptual understanding of eCommerce/Omnichannel tools and platforms
  • Sales Channels – Shopify, Amazon, Walmart
  • Marketing – Customer Purchase Cycle; Top, mid, and bottom funnel platforms
  • Analytics – Google Analytics
  • Experience performing cost-benefit analyses and creating proposals.
  • Experience with org development activities like hiring and training.
