Job Description:

The Treasury Project Manager will lead and oversee treasury-related projects to enhance the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of treasury operations. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project initiatives, streamline processes, and implement best practices in treasury management. The Treasury Project Manager will play a key role in optimizing cash management, banking operations, and financial risk management strategies.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead treasury-related projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and timelines.
  • Oversee the implementation of treasury management systems and tools to automate cash management functions, improve efficiency, and enhance reporting capabilities.
  • Develop and implement treasury policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
  • Coordinate project activities, including resource allocation, task assignment, and progress tracking, to ensure timely and successful project execution.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop project plans and timelines.
  • Prepare regular cash flow reports, variance analyses, and financial projections for senior management, providing insights into cash management performance and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation in treasury operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project performance and outcomes, identify lessons learned, and recommend enhancements for future projects.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies in treasury management, and incorporate best practices into project initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in treasury management, financial project management, or related roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong understanding of treasury operations, cash management principles, banking practices, and financial risk management.
  • Excellent project management skills, including project planning, resource management, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, Microsoft Office suite, and treasury management systems.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
