Position: Assistant Manager (Business Development) Salary : 8.0 to 10.0 lakh per annum (CTC) Department : Sales / Marketing Function : Business-development, Sales & Marketing for Water Feature Projects (Please check our website http://www.ripplesfountains.com for details) Job Location : Gurgaon Experience : Min. 4 years to Max. 8 years, strictly within (i) commercial Urban construction or (ii) Govt. construction sector (iii) MEP Contracts business. Candidates Requirements: Education: A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any branch of engineering (pref. Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics & Instrumentation). Management post-graduation desirable, but not essential. Functional skills: Proficiency in approaching Architects, Consultants etc, presentations & relationship building, making business plans & strategies. Extensive in-station & out-station traveling. Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for effectively conveying technical information to clients, presenting proposals, and preparing reports. The ability to communicate across different levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally, is critical. Software proficiency: Thorough knowledge of MS Office (XL, Word, PPT) Experience: Experience in project sales in MEP or Construction industry dealing with Govt bodies, Pvt Sector, Consultants, Architects etc. Existing relationship with Architects and Consultants would be a plus. Job Description / KRA's: Business Growth: Achieving sales targets, meeting revenue and profitability goals, and expanding the customer base by identifying and converting new business opportunities. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients through regular communication, providing excellent customer service, understanding their needs, and addressing their concerns. Market Research and Analysis: Conducting market research to identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, and using the findings to develop effective business strategies. Proposal Development and Deal Closure: Developing proposals, preparing quotes, negotiating contracts, and closing deals with clients, while ensuring that the terms and conditions are favourable to the company. Reporting and Analysis: Preparing regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and other relevant metrics, and analysing the data to identify areas of improvement and make strategic decisions. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments within the organisation, such as Design, Production, Finance etc to ensure smooth coordination and execution of business development initiatives.
