Senior Analyst – Data and Application Engineer What can you expect? Successful applicant will be expected to contribute and take ownership of Qlik Developement , follow all maintenance guidelines, and also work in future towards automation/CSI’s for same. Candidate will have to take full knowledge of all the upstream and downstream applications of the Data warehouse and its architecture, productive in resolving process/business issues. Mostly the training is in-house but it has been our experience that exposure, at Marsh, to a wide range of tools/software and expertise of existing members of the team have transformed professionals into qualified data test engineers with highly marketable and transferable skills. Grow in culture focused on training and mentoring Exposure to cutting technologies used in data engineering solutions We will count on you to: Understanding of CICD deployment framework like Jenkins, Ansible One should be able to works with business analysts and data architects to understand data quality/dashboard requirements Ability to understand business needs and translate these needs into BI/MI solutions Significant experience with Qlik load/ETL scripts, designing user interfaces, data models and dashboards Responsible for end-to-end design, development, validation and migrations of Qlik based reporting application Should have good familiarity with Qlikview Publisher and QMC Should have good knowledge of SQL Commands/Scripts - DML, DDL, DQL etc. Proficient in databases like MongoDB, MySQL Hands-on experience in Scripting languages like Python, Shell Knowledge of Server Administration on Linux (Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu) Experience of Project Management tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceDesk, ServiceNow Knowledge of encryption & decryption methods like PGP Sound Debugging skills Should have basic understanding of contact centre terminologies What you need to have: Good understanding of agile scrum methodology and working in a scrum team.
