MS Dynamic 365 Functional Tester/QA


The Dynamic 365 Functional Tester/QA needs to be well versed with and have hands-on experience in testing Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Customer Service Hub, Knowledge Management, Self Service Portal, Reports & Dashboards using Power BI/SSRS, Power Automate and Power Apps based solutions


The selected candidate will be working with the development team, and report to the project manager and technical lead.


Essential Job Functions & Required Skills:


  • in full testing life cycle, including requirements validation, test planning, and test case identification/development, development of test automation framework, functional testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • test objectives, write, and execute test cases and test scenarios to ensure that software products meet design specifications and ensure consistency, completeness, accuracy, and testability of product requirements.
  • with stakeholders to formulate testing scenarios and facilitate testing.
  • ensure high quality and accuracy is maintained through to software release.
  • prepare and maintain test plans for use on automated testing tools.
  • prepare a test plan and test scripts to test each software component and demonstrate the business condition under test and the expected results.
  • provide feedback to the development team and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule and the quality requirements.
  • create/update user stories, Epics, features, testcases in Azure DevOps and maintain. issues/bugs as part of the system testing/user testing.
  • to test business processes, plugins, and workflows with both positive and negative test cases.
  • in testing multiple business unit with data segregation and cross BU access/roles.
  • hand on experience in testing Dynamics Self-service Portals, Custom portal and knowledge Management, SharePoint integration.
  • in testing Customer Service Hub, Unified Client Interface, Power BI Dashboards & Reports, Scheduled Reports, Custom SSRS reports with multiple data sources (external & internal)
  • in testing Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • with business users to understand the reported issue and steps to recreate the issue in non-production environment.
  • system and user acceptance testing activities, including issue resolution.
