Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to clients utilizing Azure IoT services, including IoT Central, IoT Hub, Azure Functions, Service Bus, device Management, Storage, Event Hub, Event grid, Device Provisioning Service, Azure Digital Twin, API and related technologies.
  • Provide technical support to Telemetry Modeling Using Digital Twins Definition Language (DTDL)
  • Provide support for Onboarding new devices, Register/Un Register devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to device connectivity, data ingestion, processing, and visualization within Azure IoT solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose complex technical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Perform system monitoring, log analysis, and proactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance, availability, and security of Azure IoT environments.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles, and best practices to support internal teams and external customers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to gather requirements, provide updates on support tickets, and deliver technical guidance as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in software web applications architecture, design. Monitoring and development using Microsoft Azure IoT Services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience working with Microsoft Azure cloud services, with specific expertise in Azure IoT Central, IoT Hub, Azure IoT Edge, Azure Functions, Service Bus, device Management, Storage, Event Hub, Event grid and Device Provisioning Services.
  • Strong Understanding IoT Hub Rules creation and analyze device data, create and manage IoT Central Dashboard, Telemetry Modeling Using Digital Twins Definition Language (DTDL) and PowerBI
  • Strong understanding of IoT concepts, protocols, and standards, such as MQTT, AMQP, OPC UA, and JSON.
  • Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as C#, Python, PowerShell, or JavaScript.
  • Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configuration.
  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools for automation, continuous integration, and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Azure certifications related to IoT, such as Azure IoT Developer or Azure Solutions Architect.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for IoT deployments, including device provisioning, identity management, and encryption.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing technical support role or a similar client-focused position.
