As an Informatica Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter. Your expertise will contribute to the successful implementation of data integration solutions. Role & Responsibilities: Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and loading operations. Utilize Linux and Unix shell scripting for automation, scheduling, and management of ETL workflows. Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Collaborate with data architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Create and maintain documentation for ETL workflows, data mappings, transformations, and system configurations. Collaborate with database administrators and system administrators to ensure ETL processes align with database structures and configurations. Monitor ETL jobs, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to resolve errors and failures. Stay updated with Informatica tools, technologies, and best practices related to ETL development. Must-Have Skills: Informatica ETL SQL Linux Unix shell scripting. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management) tools and utilities is preferred. Experience with other ETL tools and technologies is a plus. Knowledge of data integration patterns, APIs, and web services. Understanding of database management systems and SQL tuning. Familiarity with version control systems and code management tools. Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and / or equivalent formal training or work experience. 6-9 years qualifying work experience in information technology or engineering environment. A related advanced degree may offset the related experience requirements.
