About the Responsibilities:Interface with other technical personnel or team members to finalize requirements.Serve as a primary technical point of contact for external technology resources.Write and review portions of detailed specifications for the development of system components of moderate to extreme complexity.Serve as acknowledged “go to” person on coding and technical issues.Work closely with other development team members to understand complex product requirements and translate them into software designs.Successfully implement development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews.Operate in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders.Ability to partner and lead internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.Strong organization/project planning, time management, and change management skills across multiple functional groups and departments, and strong delegation skills involving prioritizing and reprioritizing projects and managing projects of various size and complexity. Keep abreast of new technological developments.Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues; prior success extracting/translating findings into alternatives/solutions; and identifying risks/impacts and schedule adjustments to facilitate management decision-making.All other duties as assigned.About the Requirements: Qualifications:• 10+ years of Software Engineering experience• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required; advanced degree preferredImportant Skill Set RequirementMust Have-- Strong React JS- Past or current exposure on Java- Azure or Aws cloud exposure- Kubernetes- Leadership skills – excellent communication, good at mentorship, grooming, presentation skills,Good-To-Have- Node JS- CI/CD with GitHub actions and workflows- OIDC - OAuth 2.0- Terragrunt/TerraformDetailed Technical Skills:Expertise in React.js is a must, great to have working knowledge in frameworks and libraries like Next.js, Redux, Formik, Jest etcProficiency in Node.js is a great to have skill set for this roleProven expertise in development languages including but not limited to: Java, JavascriptStrong knowledge of Git, CI/CD with Github actions and workflowsStrong experience in Azure or Aws cloud with Kubernetes serviceStrong experience with authentication protocols like OIDC - OAuth 2.0Experience with IAC like TerraformProficiency in writing code with best security practices to address at least the OWASP top 10Solid knowledge of architectural principles.Strong analytical skills, Communication, Problem Solving skills.Strong knowledge of test-driven development.Fluent oral and written communications skills.Benefits:Group Health Insurance Policy (covering self and family)Group Life insurance/accident policyGenerous long-service awardsNew Baby giftAbout UsRELX is a global provider of information-based analytics and decision tools for professional and business customers.We help scientists make new discoveries, doctors and nurses improve the lives of patients and lawyers win cases.
