QA & Testing Senior Advisor Position Overview: The job profile for this position is QA & Testing Senior Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role. This role will provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Q&A matters, often requiring coordination between organizations as well as providing consultation at the highest technical level to project teams and client areas assisting with the successful development and implementation of effective computer systems applications across multiple computing environments (e.g., host based, distributed systems, client server). The QA Testing Senior Advisor will consult with client and IT management and staff throughout the project life cycle, to assist and support the design, development and implementation of effective systems. This role will focus on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines and will be recognized internally as “the go-to person” for the most complex Quality Assurance & Testing assignments. The solution focuses on enabling this change using the latest technologies and development techniques Responsibilities: Drafts, revises and approves test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standards and IT strategy. Creates test data files with valid and invalid records to thoroughly test program logic and verify system flow. Collaborates with users to plan user acceptance testing, alpha and beta testing and ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved. Provides leadership, vision, and architectural / design direction for the team. Analyzes, designs new or modified Quality Assurance (QA) procedures and standards and assists in the development and implementation of QA metrics for assessing the quality of delivered application software. Participates in the review of new QA software and consults with IT staff and client areas in resolving questions during the testing process. Works with client and IT management and staff to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology. Leads the team in troubleshooting and problem resolution. Aligns engineering solutions with the Technology strategy and supports the application’s requirements. Plans and implements procedures to maximize engineering and operating efficiency for application integration technologies. Identifies opportunities and drives process improvements. Takes accountability for the technology assets owned by the team. Provides leadership to the team to achieve the following objectives: Design, configuration, implementation of middleware products and application design / development within the supported technologies and products. Proactive monitoring and management design of supported assets assuring performance, availability, security, and capacity. Maximize the efficiency (operational, performance, and cost) of the application assets. Qualifications Required Skills: Senior QA with experience in IVR and Conversational AI testing, test automation, Cyara experience a plus Strong influencing / negotiation skills. Strong interpersonal / relationship management skills. Strong time and project management skills. Familiarity with agile methodology including SCRUM team leadership. Familiarity with modern delivery practices such as continuous integration, behavior/test driven development, and specification by example. Required Experience & Education: 10+ years of experience Proven experience with architecture, design, and development of large-scale enterprise application solutions. College degree (Bachelor) in related technical / business areas or equivalent work experience. Industry certifications such as PMP, Scrum Master, or Six Sigma Green Belt Desired Experience: Exposure to AWS Healthcare experience Coaching of team members Location & Hours of Work: Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected hours 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM IST and expect overlap with US hours as appropriate. Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India, with flexibility to work remotely as required.
