Job Title : Business Development Manager/ Senior Business Development Manager (Online Panels)


Job Summary :

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving growth and revenue through the acquisition of new clients and the expansion of relationships with existing clients in Market Xcel's online panel department. This role requires a strategic approach to identify and capitalize on business opportunities in the online panel research domain.


Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development
  • ∙ Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the online panel research sector.
  • ∙ Develop and execute strategic plans to acquire new clients and partnerships.
  • ∙ Drive the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • ∙ Nurture and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to foster loyalty and identify upselling opportunities.
  • ∙ Regularly engage with clients to understand their needs and provide suitable solutions.
  • ∙ Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy:
  • ∙ Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities.
  • ∙ Develop and implement effective business development strategies aligned with the company's goals and market trends.
  • Proposal and Presentation:
  • ∙ Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches for potential clients.
  • ∙ Participate in client meetings, negotiations, and contract discussions.
  • Collaboration and Coordination:
  • ∙ Collaborate with the marketing, research, and operations teams to align strategies and support business development efforts.
  • ∙ Coordinate internally to ensure smooth project transitions from sales to execution.


Requirements:

  • ∙ Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • ∙ Proven track record in business development or sales within the online panel research industry.
  • ∙ Strong understanding of market research methodologies and online panel dynamics.
  • ∙ Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • ∙ Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • ∙ Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.


Working Conditions: This role may require occasional travel for client meetings and industry events. The standard working hours will be 9:30-18:00 with flexibility as per business requirements.
