Position Summary:

The job profile for this position is QA & Testing Senior Advisor which is a Band 4 Senior Contributor Career Track Role.

This role will support/enhance the Cigna eMOS platform.QA & Testing Senior Advisor position plays a key role in ensuring software developed meets the highest standards of quality. This role is responsible for working with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and others in the team to understand user scenarios, scope of change, and to develop and execute test cases.? ? This role will also support automating the test cases.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute software test cases to support eMOS software development activities.
• Collaborate with developers and product management to ensure sufficient test case coverage for testing new and existing functionality.
• Participate in defining and clarifying software development and testing requirements.
• Actively participate in the Scrum development process:? standups, grooming and sprint planning
• Validate data sets against documented business rules.
• Log and document testing activities as appropriate.
• Communicate progress, issues, and risks in a timely manner.

Experience Required:

• 4+ years of experience in Automation Testing.
• 4+ years of experience in UI Testing.

Experience Desired:

• 10+ years’ experience performing functional and/or user acceptance testing of a software product is desired.
• Experience of working in both Manual and Automation Projects
• Proficient in Test Automation using Selenium Web driver, BDD, TestNG, Maven, POM, Cucumber etc.
• Have good knowledge on API automation with Cucumber framework.
• Experience includes Functional testing, User Acceptance Testing, Integration testing, System testing, browser compatibility testing & Security testing of client/server and Web base Applications.
• Expertise in Designing Test Scenario’s and Test Cases
• Expertise in Test Execution, Defect tracking and Result Analysis
• Good knowledge on Defect life Cycle Management
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, ability to be effective with minimal direction.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members in a Scrum-based environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, business processes, etc.
• High level of curiosity and critical thinking, & strong desire to learn new concepts

Education and Training Required:

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) required.
