Responsibilities –

  • Identify key markets and the types of hotels that would complement our current product offerings and revenue growth
  • Grow net revenue in the market by producing business plans to achieve revenue goals, ensuring inventory levels exceed demand throughout the market, ensuring rate competitiveness, participating in weekly market review meetings, maintaining inventory and rates, following up on all expiring contracts, analyzing weekly reports, negotiating and securing market deals and merchandising all deals on our sites
  • Maintain key accounts (e.g. Hotels, Top Seller Hotels in the respective market, etc.) by conducting a weekly competitive analysis for key markets, reporting findings, and making adjustments to monitor, evaluate and report on individual accounts and market's progress toward weekly, and monthly and annual targets, provide educational seminars, take advantage of merchandising advertising opportunities, identify opportunities for growth, initiate annual contract renewal process for larger accounts

Job Description:

  • Preferred candidates having past work experience in sales, travel trade, key account
  • management, contracting, and B2B Sales.
  • Negotiate and secure B2B Rates/Promotions/Discounts for internal and external consumption.
  • Progressive responsibility with quantifiable results in contract negotiation
  • Presenting effectively: you can clearly express ideas and information to others and flex your style according to the specific situation and audience
  • Leading your market: You excel at evaluating local market characteristics, trends and drivers,
  • and you effectively prioritize and lead the performance of a portfolio of accounts to business value.
  • Contracting with hotels and onboarding with live inventory.
  • Market research and comparison with competitors.
  • Manage P&L of contracted hotels and find ways to upsell.
  • Provide contract-related issue resolution, both internally and externally
  • Maintaining all contract-related correspondence and documentation
  • Geographical understanding of the assigned market & flair for travel is also a prerequisite for the job profile
  • Plan the overall course of action for each account
  • Proactively identify opportunities to partner with hotels to grow our business
  • Lead discussions with hotels to identify opportunities
  • Manage, establish and maintain deep and long-term relationships
  • Coordinate training of partner hotels on our extranet and the online business
  • Review monthly production reports and provide feedback to top-producing hotels on plan and execute market visits
  • Negotiate and secure market deals and merchandise all deals on our sites.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on individual accounts and the markets progress toward weekly, monthly and annual targets cull out insights for future course of action

Requirements:

  • 1 to 4 years of validated experience in a B2B Sales and/or Account Management Role.
  • Proficient in English, Hindi & In the local language for the region of hire.
  • Affinity/experience within B2B Travel/E-travel and/or hotel/travel industry;
  • Proactive, sense of responsibility, Team Player and can work independently;
  • Open to travel travelling frequently.
  • Keeps problem-solving approach.
  • Accurate, strong analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Confident and has a good ability to interact with Hotels and internal Teams.
  • Should know Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Being familiar with Google Sheets will be beneficial.
