What you’ll do as theManager Procurement & Supply Chain:Key Result Areas/AccountabilitiesOverall responsibility for Cost Estimating (sourcing) and purchasing (procurement) activities across the business for IndiaWork jointly with the SCM Demand Management, Client Success & sales teams to assess business needs and execute purchasing processes setting clear timelines, expectations, and deliveries.Implement best practices strategy, policies, processes, procedures & documentations are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery targets, which enables the organisation to function and compete effectively in the marketImplement procurement excellence through category management, spend analysis, share of business compliance etc to improve negotiations and reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for products and services.Responsible for managing relationships and negotiating with key suppliers at a senior and strategic level Negotiate contract terms with key suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards and delivery terms with technical and operational input from stakeholders if appropriateMaintains & develops an overall vendor base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage leveraging spends and leveraging technologiesDevelop, implement and maintain a supplier relationship and evaluation process to measure effective supplier performance and complianceProvide leadership, coordination and coaching to the team within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their rolesComplete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures for the team as required/appropriateDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performanceCommunicate with stakeholders the impact of market change and potential effects on supply and recommend solutions without compromising quality or service while optimisingcostDrive system improvement/ERP transitionMonitoring, tracking and reporting of supply chain dashboards/KPIs as per business requirementWhat you will bring to the team:Education & work experience:10 to 15 years of experience in procurement & supply chainEducated to degree level (preferably Masters) in a relevant commercial or business discipline or equivalentPreferably a Fellow or Member of The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or related certificationDemonstrable experience of leading a purchasing function preferably within IT industry with a proven track record in delivering effective purchasing strategies, policies, processes and systems Ability to operate at tactical and strategic levels bothStrong MS Office skills especially Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of EXIM documentation, & operationsAnalytical ability and strong strategic thinker with leadership and influencing abilities.Personal & behavioral skills:Proven leadership and team management skills and the ability to optimise team performance and developmentExcellent relationship management skills with the ability to engage, negotiate and manage key stakeholders and suppliersStrong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levelsExcellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skillsStrong analytical and problem solving abilitiesResults orientated with ability to plan and deliver against project deadlinesCommercially and financially astute with experience of managing budgetsZones offers a comprehensive Benefits package.While we’re committed to providing top-tier solutions, we are just as committed to supporting our own teams.
