So if you are a highly skilled Application Engineer looking to make a real impact on the world, join our journey!The opportunityWorldline is looking for Business Monitoring Application Engineers to join our competence centre that will support our FS Production Centres Merchant and acquiring services, issuing, digital services and account payments in their alerting and monitoring activities.As a support team you will be strongly involved in maintaining the configuration of our monitoring tools, helping the application management teams to implement dashboards, graphs, monitoring and alerts in our different applications. Those application teams are monitoring the traffic to anticipate potential issues and react to any abnormal behaviour.You will play a crucial role in the integration of the application and technical components with our standard monitoring tools, observability metrics and dashboarding tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty and StatusPage.Your day-to-day responsibilities includeManaging the Worldline Software in a customer related setup.You will be 2nd level support with close support of the 3rd level supporter (developer).Responsible for the staging of new versions of the software by tunning a QA, PreProd and Production environment.You understand the strong need of security and will understand the requirements of PCI and GDPR.Acquire profound knowledge of new and existing business services and its related application(s) and their underlying infrastructure and supporting technologies within your domain Contribute to the build; configuration; integration and deployment to production of the different software, monitoring (Zabbix, Grafana, PagerDuty, etc..) Contribute to Project Production readiness assessment or review for the business monitoring part Interact with various internal Monitoring, Operations and Development support functions to resolve production issues or to redesign/refine processes, procedures, delivery mechanisms and support models Identify and develop tools, techniques and procedures for improving the alarming, monitoring, performance, availability and reliability of applications Ensure compliance with departmental policies (i.e. change control, IT security standards, release management, incident management) Review application support documentation Contribute to process development and best practice. Looking at new ways to improve resilience, performance levels and supportabilityUnderstand HA and DR concepts and optimize switch over scenarios to bring production back to live as fast as possible.Signs of success You will contribute to the stability and robustness of our production. You will demonstrate the ability to understand the requirements, prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
