Job Title: UI UX Designer for Mobile Applications

Job Summary

As a UI/UX Designer at Helmsman Consultancy, you will be responsible for creating engaging and user-centric designs that enhance the overall usability and visual appeal of our digital products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to the entire design process, from concept ideation to final implementation.

Key Responsibilities

1. User Research:

· Conduct user research to understand user needs, preferences, and behaviors.

· Use insights from research to inform design decisions and improve user experiences.

2. Wire framing and Prototyping:

· Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.

· Iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing.

3. Interaction Design:

· Design intuitive and seamless user interactions for web and mobile applications.

· Collaborate with developers to ensure the feasibility and smooth implementation of design elements.

4. Visual Design:

· Develop visually appealing and consistent design elements, including color schemes, typography, and iconography.

· Ensure designs align with brand guidelines and project objectives.

5. Usability Testing:

· Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback on prototypes and live products.

· Analyze testing results to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

6. Collaboration:

· Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to align design efforts with overall project goals.

· Communicate design concepts and rationale effectively to non-design team members.

7. Stay Updated on Design Trends:

· Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices.

· Continuously enhance design skills and apply them to projects.

Qualifications:

· Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.

· Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and your design process.

· Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, or similar.

· Solid understanding of user-centered design principles.

· Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and other front-end technologies is a plus.

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Location:

Ahmedabad (only on site)

Work Hours :

Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM (flexible if work is finished early)

Work Experience:

2-4 years
