About Position:

we are looking for Senior Data Engineer.

What You'll Do:

• Study Core AI tools by going through existing code base, KT docs / videos.
• Providing white glove support for adoption goals across multiple inhouse platform tools like AI Marketplace (with QRS), AI Workbench, GenOS IDEs and platforms, Model monitoring and RAID adoption (Responsible AI).
• Security and compliance activities.
• Estimate the effort required for building/integrating capabilities, get approval from PM/EM/Architect.
• Create epics / stories for each of work items and detailed plan of action.
• Ensure code coverage, FMEA and end-to-end testing is planned for each feature/enhancement made.
• Actively monitor the released features in Dev /Pre-Prod and Prod environments for couple of days to certify expected functionality.
• Join dev on call rotation to take care of productions jobs when PD alerts are raised or posted on slack channel to avoid any SLA misses which can cause incident.
• RTB Support of existing code base, participate in on call rotations, handle PD alerts, fix Security defects and write Unit/Functional test cases.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Proven experience as a Senior Data Engineer.
• A well-rounded engineer with good appetite for learning and ramping up on cutting edge technologies.
• Good analytical and debugging skills with self-starting capabilities and owning responsibilities.
• Experience in Python and Spark for both batch and stream processing.
• Extensive experience in Kafka and knowledge of distributed parallel processing and event driven programming.
• Familiarity with SQL and No SQL Databases (Preferably DynamoDB)
• Exposure to AWS Cloud services.
• Knowledge of Containerization with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Knowledge of CI/CD via Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Great attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Basic Ops/SRE and platform engineering mindset.
• Experience in MLOps will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of AI/ML basics and some experience of working on AI tools.
• Experience in Java backend development using Spring Boot framework.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies including HTML/CSS, JavaScript, React.
