Job DetailsWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Operations Data Analyst to join our Data Analytics team. This role would be responsible for overseeing and managing the optimization of web analytics tools and processes to gather insights into website performance and user behavior. The role would also be responsible for enforcing policies, processes, and standards to ensure the quality, integrity, and security of that data. Data drives what we do, from strategic decisions based on marketing attribution, or development decisions based on product analytics. We need that data to be thoughtfully planned, strategically managed, complete and accurate. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging data and technology to drive marketing effectiveness and efficiency. Responsibilities: Support Marketing, Sales, Business Development on strategic data projects, managing the framework and schema for campaign-related dataOversee the management of marketing technology tools, primarily Google Analytics, to track and measure website performanceManage marketing data, which involves collecting, organizing, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of marketing data sources. This includes customer data, campaign performance data, website analytics, and more.Establish and enforcing procedures for monitoring and improving data quality, including data profiling, validation, and cleansing activities.Overseeing the creation and maintenance of metadata, which includes information about data definitions, lineage, and usage, to enhance understanding and traceability.Identify inefficiencies in marketing processes and develop strategies to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, IT, and finance, to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals and ensure data consistency across departments.Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with relevant regulations.Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in marketing operations and data analytics. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.3 years of experience in marketing operations, data analysis, or related roles.Proficiency in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) implementation, configuration, and administration.Experience with marketing technology platforms such as Display & Video 360, Campaign Manager, Search Ads 360, Meta, Twitter/XExperience in managing data for the use of marketing attribution and product management.Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, Excel, etc.Experience using BigQuery with GA4-synced data is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Attention to detail and a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement. Working days/hours: Monday to Friday; Fully working from the office - Indiqube Alpine (Transit) 7th Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Guindy Area - adjacent to Ekattuthangal Metro Station.
