Job Responsibilities:


  • Analyze existing HR processes and systems, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions leveraging the capabilities of Workday.
  • Develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, and other relevant tools to ensure seamless data flow between Workday and other external systems, including SAP.
  • Implement IT/business Solution in Workday HCM – Business process Configuration and Customization, Functional Setup, Integrations, Reports and Workday Security framework.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Workday functionality, integrations, and data integrity.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP HCM functionality to sync HCM data between Workday and SAP.
  • Conduct system audits, identify areas of improvement, and implement necessary changes to optimize the performance and usability of the Workday platform.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and support to junior team members, helping them enhance their technical and functional skills.
  • Stay up to date with Workday releases, new features, and industry best practices, and proactively assess their impact on the organization's HR processes and systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, and other business units, to ensure the successful implementation and ongoing support of Workday solutions.
  • Document technical designs, configuration changes, and system processes to ensure accurate and comprehensive knowledge transfer.
  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited institution.


Required Qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years of IT experience
  • Overall 7+ years of relevant experience in Implementation, Roll-Out and Support projects related to Workday HCM Applications
  • Proficient in Implementing IT/business Solution in Workday HCM – Business process Configuration and Customization, Functional Setup, Integrations, Reports and Workday Security framework.
  • Advance Experience in Workday HCM report writing and creating dashboards, scorecards, and Discover Boards
  • Analyzes, maintains, troubleshoots, designs, and configures Workday information systems to suit organizational needs
  • Experience in HCM Modules (Core HR, Benefits, Compensation, Recruitment, Payroll etc...)
  • Knowledge and experience with full SDLC and support lifecycle including experience in testing process and Agile methodologies.
  • Candidate should be proficient in all the delivered HCM processes and reports, suggest best practices.
  • Look for ways to standardize, ensure execution is efficient and consistent, and set accountability by supervising progress, resolving dependencies, identifying issues, evaluating risks, and communicating status to upper management and project stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in Workday Community by contributing to content, voting on Brainstorms, etc.
  • Should be able to impart training and knowledge to junior team members.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in working in teams on large and complex ERP projects.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end functional flows in HR modules such as Core HR, Compensation, Recruitment, Absence Management, Payroll etc.
  • Understanding of HCM Domain/boundary systems and data flows with third-party such as Payroll/Benefits/Compensation/Finance application
  • Fluent communication, Strong analytical skills
  • Implementation/Support experience of systems like in SAP HCM will be an added advantage.
