Management Information System Executive

SGT University is in search of a talented MIS executive with good research orientation for its campus. The University, in its campus spread over 70 acres near Gurgaon, offers around 160+ programs in Medical and Non-Medical domains. It nurtures more than seven thousand students and is a hub of activities involving the nation’s who’s who. It is a part of a group spanning the fields of education and hospitality. The University employs close to three thousand people. The campus has accommodation for employees and hostels for students and offers excellent support facilities such as shopping complex, medical facilities, sports, entertainment and transportation. The campus is located less than 5 km from the Delhi border of Daurala and offers convenient access to Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Job Description: As an MIS Executive, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our university's information systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations across various departments. Your primary duties will include: Data Management and Analysis: Collecting, organizing, and analysing data from various sources to provide actionable insights. Developing and maintaining databases, spreadsheets, and other tools for data storage and analysis. Generating reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends. System Maintenance and Optimization: Monitoring the performance of existing information systems and identifying areas for improvement. Implementing updates and upgrades to software and hardware systems as needed. Troubleshooting technical issues and providing timely support to end-users. Process Improvement: Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify inefficiencies in existing processes and proposing solutions. Implementing automation and streamlining workflows to enhance productivity and accuracy. Conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Training and Support: Providing training and support to end-users on the use of information systems and tools. Creating user manuals and documentation to facilitate knowledge sharing and self-service. Addressing user inquiries and resolving technical issues in a prompt and professional manner. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience in MIS, data analysis, or related role. Proficiency in database management systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MS Access). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality. Minimum 1 year of Experience in the field of MIS.
