About the Role:

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer capable of handling product design projects at a high level. You will work closely with both client and in-house product/design/dev teams on mid-to-long term projects. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with all aspects of UI/UX design, have excellent product thinking and problem-solving abilities, good written and verbal communication skills, and a keen aesthetic sense. You should have knowledge of designing end to end products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with product managers and engineers.
• Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
• Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function look like.
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colours and images.
• Own end-to-end design process and deliverables (including user personas, customer journeys, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes) to effectively conceptualise and communicate design strategy and detailed interaction behaviours for all products.
• Understand target users deeply: develop or work from user profiles, conduct task analysis, create user scenarios or user stories, help to create and analyse user research.
• You will collaborate with Engineering and perform QAs to ensure design quality. You’ll also contribute to visual designs by producing the visual language for a product.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Proficiency in prototyping and visual design programs such as Figma, Photoshop, Prototype, Adobe illustrator or similar design tools.
• Continued education and research into UX trends, current design strategy, and technologies.
• Proven 2+ years of work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
• Portfolio of design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools.
• Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
