The primary objectives of this role are to support Allianz SE - Allianz Reinsurance Department (AzRe) team to improve the risk management capability of the company. Cleanse and validate AZ OEs exposure data. Providing meaningful insights and summary reports for senior management. Catastrophic Modelling and provide results on the exposure losses and Premium.


Duties and Responsibilities:


Supporting/Managing the identification, assessment, validation and reporting of NAT CAT losses.

Process Refinements work, data replacements, data modelling, validation and analysis – Assessing drivers of change, Geospatial reconciliation of risk numbers, Producing Exposure Summary reports.

Cat Modelling Exposure– Creating EDM and Portfolios, Geocoding and Hazardlookups, EDM profiling.

Results Modelling – Creating RDM, DLM profiling, Treaties , Portfolio scaling and Results Production.


Qualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills


Technical understanding of key insurance processes e.g. underwriting, claims handing, or non-trading processes e.g. IT, Finance or Actuarial.

Risk Management methodologies( RMS).

Presentation / Facilitation skills (Course attendance and proven experience).

SQL & SAS coding expertise, RMS Risklink , Aspire.

7.5 Security of Information (including Data Protection)

The confidentiality, integrity and availability of Allianz data (in whatever form it is held) and processing resources are vital to the conduct of profitable business as well as being an obligation imposed by various legislative measures such as the Data Protection Act. You should understand the Company’s Information Security Policy on the intranet and how it applies to your job. Ensure that the provisions of that policy are applied in the conduct of your work at all times.


Line Managers (including M-grade managers, G6 to G9 Managers)

  • Responsible for enforcing policies, standards and procedures for the protection of Information
  • Responsible for providing the necessary staffing and material resources to ensure continued compliance with all Information Security policies.
  • Report and investigate on the Information Security Incidents (including all policy breaches and policy exceptions )
  • Ensure that when the staff (including all temporary and contract employees) leave the Company, their access rights are revoked and all IT hardware is collected from them
  • Ensure that the access rights assigned to the direct reports are then minimum required for them to do their job
  • Review access rights of staff whose responsibilities or position within the Company have changed and ensure that users do not retain inappropriate access rights
  • All Allianz Technology India employees are expected to adhere to the Information Security policies day in and day out.
  • Report any ISMS events / incidents as per the reporting procedures.
  • Shall be aware of all ISMS principles and guidelines
