What We Need

Corpay is currently looking to hire a Sales Compensation Analyst. This position falls under our Cross Border Payments line of business and is located in Chennai, India.

The Compensation Analyst works closely with business leaders and the Director, Sales Compensation to administer sales variable compensation calculations, modeling ROI analysis, strategic partnership management, reporting deliverables including preparing management reports, presentations, and documenting business process.


This is an exciting and the critical role in the organization as this team manages the variable compensation for 400+ HC which involves various levels of corporate strategies with the power of real time compensation analytics, business intelligence tools and the inhouse platforms.

Roles & Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is to support the regional sales leaders, Chief Data and Analytics officer and the Director of Sales Compensation in the administration of global sales variable compensation and partnership calculations including commissions, sales bonuses, and incentives.


This role leads a team of analysts in the completion of Variable Compensation and Partnership functions. Key supervision Responsibilities include:


· Supervise team of analysts in the completion of work

· Develops schedules and plans to ensure that required work is completed on time and within payroll submission timelines.

· Ensures standards and processes are maintained for both commission configurations and calculations as well as partnership configuration and calculations.

· Reviews quality of analysts work. Reviews payroll submissions prior to submitting to the Director for approval.

· Develops reports and tools to ensure commissions are configured properly and

· Monitors daily work performance of the team and individuals to ensure service levels are maintained and team members are contributing sufficiently.

· Identify training and development opportunities for staff. Ensure that adequate cross training is in place to support staff absences without disruption in performance.

· Maintains documentation and training material for processes.

· Maintains documentation standards for Compensation and Partnership plans including exceptions and special approvals.

· Ensures that all variable compensation commission and incentive payments and partnership payments are supported by signed and approved contract and/or letters.

· Supports team through change.

· Ensures data output from processes is maintained in consumable data formats that support upstream consumption.

· Identify and recommend improvements to current processes, with a focus on increased efficiencies and enhanced value-added analytics.

· Manages periodic partnership evaluation processes and standards.

· Build models to evaluate proposed new commission incentives and structures and evaluate the success of existing plans and structures.

· Construct Summary reports that identify and analyze outcomes and trends on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

· Meet with regional business teams to identify issues for resolution.


Qualifications & Skills

· 4 - 5 years of experience in Compensation Analytics and Financial Planning

· Business Intelligence tools (Power BI)

· Budgeting and Forecasting

· Microsoft Office - PowerPoint, Excel, Word

· Project Management

Other Skills:

· Microsoft SQL, Visio, SharePoint

· Basic Knowledge of CRM (Salesforce)
